On 6 August 2025, UiTM Global had the honour of welcoming two distinguished academic representatives from the Toyota Technological Institute Japan (TTIJ): Associate Professor Prof. Prof. Dr. Ken Ichikawa and Lecturer Dr. Chi Chu. Their visit marked a significant opportunity for academic engagement and collaboration. During the meeting, both delegates expressed keen interest in learning more about the summer program offered by the International Relations Division of UiTM Global, particularly in terms of its structure, international student participation, and potential for joint initiatives.
In addition to the formal discussions, the delegation was given the opportunity to tour key locations within UiTM, including Cristal College and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. The visit to Cristal College provided insights into student accommodation and campus life, while the tour of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering showcased the university’s teaching facilities and research capabilities. The visit concluded with a token exchange and further dialogue on future collaboration between UiTM and TTIJ
