UiTM Global has organized the EURAXESS Workshop: Strategising Success on Pillar 2 Horizon Europe on 7 August 2025 (Thursday) located at UiTM Global Seminar Hall, UiTM Shah Alam from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm. The workshop aims to increase participants' awareness of international research funding and mobility opportunities under Horizon Europe's Pillar 2, build capacity in drafting competitive project proposals, and encourage the formation of a collaborative network between local research institutions and partners from Europe.
As many as 80 participants from UiTM and other universities also participated in this workshop. Also present to liven up the session was Prof Madya Dr. Mohd Ariffin Abu Hassan, Chairman of the International Board of Directors (JKPA). The workshop features two guest speakers with extensive experience in the field of international research: 
Dr. Tatas H.P. Brotosudarmo, EURAXESS ASEAN Representative and Dr. Ronald W Binati, Erasmus Mundus Malaysia Representative. Participants also had the opportunity to share experiences and best practices through fruitful interactive sessions, while reinforcing participation in global research programmes.
