UiTM Global held a virtual meeting with the Russian Foreign Trade Academy (RFTA) on 2 October 2025 to explore exciting prospects for student mobility and academic collaboration. The session was also joined by the Dean and representatives from the Faculty of Hotel and Tourism Management, who expressed keen interest in participating in future initiatives.
During the discussion, RFTA proposed introducing language-based mobility programmes, expressed intent to formalise cooperation through an additional Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) for summer school initiatives, and suggested a follow-up meeting to further advance the partnership.
Both institutions also discussed RFTA’s strengths in Law and Languages and considered a future UiTM visit to Russia to deepen bilateral relations and explore broader collaboration opportunities.
