Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) has reinforced its commitment to sustainability, ranking in the top 34.7% among 1,751 universities worldwide in the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2025. This marks UiTM’s third consecutive appearance in this prestigious ranking.
UiTM demonstrated significant progress, achieving an 8% increase in its percentile compared to the previous year and securing the 151st position in Asia. The 2025 rankings saw a surge in participation, with 348 new institutions joining, bringing the total to 1,751 universities, including 29 from Malaysia and 661 from across Asia.
The QS World University Rankings: Sustainability evaluates universities based on three key pillars: Environmental Impact, Social Impact, and Governance.
