On April 16, 2025, Dr. Elsevar, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Azerbaijan, conducted a site visit to Hotel UiTM Shah Alam in preparation for the upcoming Chess Tournament. The visit was also attended by representatives from the Malaysian Chess Federation, the Director of the Strategic Cooperation Relations Division, and the Head of Strategic Operations at UiTM. God willing, the tournament is scheduled to take place on May 17, 2025, at Hotel UiTM Shah Alam.
