The UK-Malaysia Joint Partnership Call on Non-Communicable Diseases project titled ‘Reducing Premature Coronary Artery Disease in Malaysia by Early Identification of Familial Hypercholesterolaemia’ [grant reference number: MR/T017384/1, NMRR-20-272-52797, 100-TNCPI/GOV 16/6/2 (002/2020)] marked another level of an international research collaboration between Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia and the University of Nottingham (UoN), United Kingdom. About us
The Faculty of Applied Sciences (FSG), Universiti Teknologi MARA, (UiTM) Shah Alam, Malaysia is involved in a project funded by the ERASMUS+ Programme from the European Union entitled “Smart textiles – Modernisation of the Curriculum of Textile Engineering and Textile Technology in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Pakistan” or rather known as SMARTEX. The project is for a 3-year duration that started from 15 January 2020 and should end on 14 January 2023. Due to COVID, the project is now extended to July 2023.
The UiTM team received a funding amount of EUR135,670.00 (RM627,940.00) and is led by Prof. Ts Dr. Mohd Rozi Ahmad. Other members of the team include Assoc. Prof. Ts Dr. Mohamad Faizul Yahya, Ts Dr. Nor Dalila Nor Affandi, Ts Dr. Atiyyah Musa and Ts Dr. Wan Syazehan Ruznan.
