UiTM Student to Represent Malaysia at International Young Chef 2025 in Kazan, Russia
Shah Alam, 10 May 2025 – Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) proudly announces that Muhamad Sufi Irfan bin Mohamad Rusdin, a Semester 5 student of the Bachelor of Culinary Arts Management (Hons.), Faculty of Hotel and Tourism Management, UiTM Cawangan Pulau Pinang, has been selected to represent UiTM and Malaysia at the prestigious International Young Chef 2025 competition.
The event will take place in Kazan, Russia, from May 12 to 14, 2025, as part of the globally recognised Russia–Islamic World: Kazan Forum, which brings together participants from over 25 countries. This selection is a significant achievement not only for Muhamad Sufi but also for UiTM’s continuous commitment to cultivating world-class talent in culinary arts and hospitality.
After weeks of rigorous training and preparation, supported by RIG funds and the efforts of committed lecturers and mentors, Muhamad Sufi is ready to showcase his culinary creativity and Malaysian flavours on the international stage.
